NJ Mass, Rally, and March for Life (Chartered Bus Opportunity by 8:00 AM)

The New Jersey Mass for Life, Rally for Life, and March for Life will take place on Thursday, September 26, 2024 in Trenton. The Mass at the Cathedral (at 9:30) followed by the Rally (at 11:00) at the Statehouse Annex followed by the March (at 12:00) commencing and ending at the Statehouse Annex. ALL are invited and welcome to attend and participate. Two neighboring Long Branch parishes are partnering to provide a chartered bus with seats for up to 40 passengers to attend these very important Pro-Life events: St. Michael’s Parish and Christ the King Parish (Our Lady Star of the Sea Church and Holy Trinity Church).  This bus will depart from the Star of the Sea Church at 8:00 a.m. on Thursday.  Further information is below.   

        This day in Trenton will conclude at approximately 1:30 and our bus will return to the Star of the Sea Church parking lot at approximately 3:00. Registration for a seat on the bus will be on a first come, first served basis. There will be a fee of $10.00 per passenger (students may ride on the bus at no charge). Mass-goers who have walking difficulty and who may be unable to walk to the Rally or to walk the entire route of the March are welcome to remain at the Cathedral in the church hall after the Mass (where coffee, pastries, and rest rooms will be available) until our bus departs for home. We will gladly and gratefully accept a free will donation to help the parishes cover the expenses of this bus and the bus driver’s gratuity. 

        Rest rooms will be available at the Cathedral in the church hall. Feel free to bring your own “brown bag” lunch, snacks, bottled water, etc. In order to travel on this bus, you must reserve a seat and sign-up in advance on or before 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday, Sept. 25. Payment of the $10 bus fee will be collected on the day of the trip or may be dropped-off at the parish office.
