Email:[email protected] Comments/Details: National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children On Saturday, September 10,St. Michael's Church (Long Branch, NJ) will join in the National Day of Remembrance for Aborted Children, calling on Catholics and pro-life Americans to honor the gravesites of our aborted brothers and sisters. Solemn prayer vigils are being conducted at gravesites across the United States in memory of aborted children. We are encouraged to carry on the spiritual mission of this Day of Remembrance throughout the year by visiting a gravesite of aborted children and by offering of prayers of mourning, prayers for healing and reconciliation, and prayers for an end to abortion. Prayers for these intentions will be prayed at all of our Masses at St. Michael’s on September 10. Our 8:00 a.m. Mass on Saturday the 10th will be concelebrated by our parish priests and several of our weekend visiting priests (with musical accompaniment); the Mass’s intention will be for the heavenly rest of aborted children. Holy Mary, Mother of God, please come to our aid in bringing an end to abortion and in assisting pregnant women with bringing their babies to term and then after the birth.
