DUE TO POPULAR DEMAND, THE FALL BOOK CIRCLE SERIES WILL BE HELD on WEDNESDAYS (via Zoom) AND on THURSDAYS (In Person). BOOK FEATURED: I NEVER THOUGHT OF IT THAT WAY: HOW TO HAVE FEARLESSLY CURIOUS CONVERSATIONS IN DANGEROUSLY DIVIDED TIMES. AUTHOR: MONICA GUZMAN WHAT: Reading, reflection and discussions sessions which focus on understanding and even learning from those in our lives whose worldview may be different or even opposed to our own. Suggested readings from Guzman’s book, the writings of Pope Francis and Pope Benedict, and the New Testament will be suggested each week. WHERE /WHEN: via ZOOM: Wednesdays, September 13th — November 15th | 7:00 – 8:00 p.m. IN PERSON: Sessions will be held in the St. Rose Convent, 610 8th Avenue, Belmar. Thursdays, September 14th — November 16th | 2:30 – 3:30 p.m. HOSTED BY: Sr. Jeanette Weychert, SSJ, is a Sister of Saint Joseph who currently ministers at St. Rose. She offers spiritual direction and is a member of the Justice & Peace Ministry. She has served in various ministries of education and healing for many years, working with individuals, couples, families, and those in 12-Step Recovery Programs.
