Comments/Details: Do you want to study Sacred Scripture but feel intimidated? Do you feel that understanding the Bible is too daunting a challenge? Our group will use Ascension Press’, “The Bible Timeline: Story of Salvation” introduces us to the wonderful narrative of the Bible. We’ll do this through scripture reading, video, workbook, and discussions. Using 14 of the Bible’s narrative books, “The Story of Salvation” will transform your life. With a unique color-coded chart, we’ll learn the major people, places, and events of the Bible, how they relate to us in our present time, and discover how they all come together to reveal the remarkable story of our Faith. The primary goal of our Bible study is to make us richer in our prayer life, strengthen our relationship with our Lord, and enhance our understanding of how the Holy Spirit works and inspires us in our daily call to do good and to be ever more holy and perfect in the Lord. Classes have resumed on Mondays, from 6:45—8:45 p.m. in the Parish Center. There are 11 sessions remaining in our present course of studies.
