Details: YOU ARE CORDIALLY INVITED TO A CWOZ RETREAT DAY FOR WOMEN. The day consists of Mass, music, guest speaker, sharing, networking, prayers for healing, and a box lunch. Admission, payable at the door, includes lunch. This month’s speaker, Kathy Madeira, is blessed to say “yes” to the prompting of the Holy Spirit to come and speak with the Catholic Women of Zion and share the experiences and insights of her journey to and with our Lord, Jesus Christ. She is the wife to her lifelong sweetheart Frank. Together over the past 40 years they have been blessed with 5 children, and most recently a grandson, all of whom continue to teach them how to share in God’s love story. Along with her 6 siblings, Kathy remains grateful to her parents for their amazing testament to their Catholic Faith. As early as the 2nd grade, Kathy remembers kneeling after receiving the Eucharist and thinking that she was part of something really big. St. Veronica Parish in Howell, NJ has been her home for 31 years. There she continues to learn about the inheritance that is her relationship with the Lord. Kathy holds a degree in Psychology from St. John’s University, she has been a 4th grade religious education teacher and more recently, helped bring the Walking with Purpose Bible Study to the parish. She credits this series with helping her discover more about the Scriptures, Catechism, and her identity as a daughter of the King. Kathy invites us to join her as she shares: “Come and Hear About the Love You Have Been Seeking.” Come and bring a friend! Reservations are necessary.
