All this will take place outdoors (weather permitting) on the front steps of the church near the church courtyard across the street from the ocean and the beach at 800 Ocean Avenue in Long Branch. The service follows shortly after the conclusion of the parish's 8:00 Morning Mass. The National Anthem and God Bless America will be sung. The U.S. flag will be presented by the Knights of Columbus and the Air Force Junior ROTC Corps of Long Branch High School. The service will run approximately 35 minutes. All are invited and welcome. Please take a few minutes early on a holiday morning (and bring family and friends) to remember what this holiday is all about, to remember God and Country, and to celebrate our independence. More information may be found in the parish's June 23, 2019 bulletin (page 4) available at www.stmichaelnj.com
